Bike Trophy adventure has been the most known activity of our organization since
the final issue of sports-magazine Trim... ADVENTURE, NOT RACE!
if the bravest and the
most persistent bikers take adventurous Bike Trophy, the families should take
part in Bike Easy –
a shorter and easier trip along the valley on
the same day with the same goal... The start is a bit later, for some of you
must support the real Bike-Trophists and loudly stimulate them.
WHERE HAVE WE BEEN ALREADY?
There have already been 7 Bike Trophy adventures organized.

Ljubljana -Črna na Koroškem (autumn 2001)
Bled – Pokljuka – Bled (winter 2002)

6. Izola – Poreč – Vrsar (spring
2003)
Catering, diplomas, cups
and entertainment will be organized, as well as special awards for best photos
in three categories! Finally, the practical sponsors' presents will be delivered
by lot to exhausted but satisfied and contented bikers!

Bike Trophy is different compared to
marathons or races – as it joins cycling, orientation and photography, which
turns you off everyday experiences, puts you in a role of Tarzan in pure
nature, seeking the path and yourself... Looking for orientation sites will
sharpen your senses, and you will have to think and collaborate as a team after
coming across brief but ambiguous instructions in rhymes!! Two heads are better
than one! And when you still hesitate, you can take a SOS aid with instructions
out of a sealed envelope, which costs you some points. On each of the total
twenty control sites the whole equipe has to
sign and take a picture of themselves before continuing quickly to the next goal
which has been shown on the new list of instructions. If there is a fallen trunk
in front of you, you will have to climb it over or choose longer way on the road.
The choice is yours and on the map in measure 1: 50,000 received at the start
there are no orientation points. The best line must be chosen by yourself. The
equipes start at the interval of some minutes and get the instructions for the
first control point only with the starter's signal.
The team application is mandatory – the group of 2-4 members – because of safety
purposes and easier repairs...

Compulsory equipment for Bike Trophy bikers:
- a helmet, first-aid kit, compass, a pair
of compasses, tools' kit, a tow rope, a mobile phone, persistence and patience.
